percussion through tactile, visual, and auditory learning.
More challenging classes offered to music students.
Objective: Learning two traditional African songs, the history,
cultural origins, and application of the instruments (includes
relevance to today's popular music). Intermediate and
advanced students learn complex rhythmic patterns and
time signatures, and creative, multi-layered musical
arranging and composition with African instruments.
