Water is a universal symbol of peace, power, and renewal. Humans are comprised of 60%
to 70% water. By learning about water we learn much about ourselves.

In a unique concert setting,
Imakhu , initiated African Water Priestess, shares lively,  
African-based water themed stories, songs, music, dance, cultural traditions which educate
audiences of all ages about self worth, living in a positive flow, and the value of living a
well-rounded life in harmony.

Water Woman's Family/Young Audience Show

A lively, tactile, audience participation filled show based on African-based
themes of water as a tool of peace and communication.
45 - 60 minute length. Storytelling, African Drumming & Percussion, Songs,
Cultural Water Dances.

Lots of participation from the seats too!
  


Story and song selections based upon audience and occasion.          

Concerts consist of Imakhu's storytelling, drumming, songs, sacred Nu Afrakan Water dances. The focus of the
concert is on the healing and celebration of the human condition, and seeking common bonds through our
differences. Concerts may be 60 minutes, or 90 minutes with intermission.

Offered as:

1. "Water Woman Peace & Power" concert

2. An adult, Nu Afrakan drumming, Water Dance, or storytelling residency, culminating in
Imakhu 's,  "Water Woman
Peace & Power" concert, including residency/workshop participants performing with
Imakhu. Concert can also
feature local artists.


3. A "Water Woman Peace & Power" concert with a morning community workshop prior to evening performance.
Concert can also feature local artists.
